About a month after the film was shot, edited, completed, and given a surprise-release, Barry Worthington's new micro-short film, Ceiling Work, has elevating from a Quarter-Finalist to a Semi-Finalist at the Los Angeles Film Awards, after becoming an Official Selection!
The news comes off the heels of Worthington's previous short film, Lures from the Light, earning both the "Best Narrative Short" and the top accolade of "Best of Show" at the Pinnacle Film Awards. Worthington is also in the middle of pre-production for his first feature film, and has routinely been making sketches, behind-the-scenes videos, interactive media, and videos to engage viewers.
The news also comes as one of Worthington's previous short films, Tanzanite (which you can watch HERE), recently crossed the 1.5 Thousand View mark on YouTube!
Ceiling Work is Barry Worthington's 13th short film made through Limitless Films, LLC since 2010. Since then, his films have earned over 150 international accolades, including these enwest ones from the Los Angeles Film Awards. Ceiling Work is his first vertically-made short film, and was entirely improvised. He describes it as a drama / sci-fi / horror / and comedy with bits of action.
