Limitless Films and Barry Worthington announced today that he will be making a third film in his A Friday in Gaithersburg Trilogy, titled Sneaky Saturday.

The trilogy starts with A Friday in Gaithersburg (2005), Sneaky-Sneaky (2006), and now Sneaky Saturday (2025).

“Since 2006, I never made a third film that took place after Sneaky-Sneaky because I never felt it was necessary. Anthony’s story was complete. Well. Not anymore.” Worthington says.

The story will center on Worthington’s character Anthony, and will take place the following day after the conclusion of Sneaky-Sneaky. Instead of making the film take place nearly 20 years after the previous film, Worthington says, “No no. It’s taking place in 2006. Like, literally the next day. This will answer questions that have been burning for years, like, ‘What happened next?!’ It’s probably the number 1 thing people ask me these days.”

Worthington has put his first feature-length film, Cape Wonder, on indefinite hold to work on this film. This news comes much to the shock and chagrin of his crew for Cape Wonder, who are only finding out about the news today. However, they have given their full vote of confidence behind this news by replying “cool cool”.

In order for Worthington to play a 17-year old again, Hollywood-level special effects companies stepped up as soon as they heard about the project. The same next-generation de-aging technology for Hollywood blockbusters has been used for Worthington’s face, as provided in the video example above. As seen in the bacgkround of the video above, the “old” Gaithersburg High School’s interiors are being entirely reconstructed based on original blueprints at Hollywood soundstages in Burbank, California.

When asked if he was afraid that making a sequel to one of his films from high school would alienate most audiences, as only people who went to his high school at the time may be the only people who get the reference, and perhaps his time would be better spent continuing Cape Wonder, Worthington said, "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Lifelong friend Bobby Oler has agreed to be Executive Producer on the project, and says it took him about 40 seconds to think of the title.

SNEAKY SATURDAY is coming soon!

By the way, Happy April Fool’s Day!
